We developed a solution for Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded Handheld to support workforce tracking and live voice and SMS alerting. The solution required attention to network and battery usage to support long periods away from power and reduce data costs. We subsequently added Windows Phone and iOS versions and additional functionality.
