Peter Foot


Peter Foot has been awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) accolade since 2003 for his involvement in the Microsoft .NET and Windows  developer communities. Peter is a Xamarin-certified Mobile Developer. Alongside an active presence in several online forums, attendance at developer conferences and involvement in open-source projects, Peter has also written a number of technical articles and maintains an active technical blog.

Peter co-wrote the Microsoft Mobile Development Handbook published by Microsoft Press in 2007. It was the definitive guide to software development for Windows CE and Windows Mobile using the .NET Compact Framework.


Prior to developing mobile apps, Peter led a test team for a UK mobile internet portal on the UK’s first consumer GPRS service. Peter holds a BSc in Computer Science.
