PointOfService In The Hand provides a common API around various device point of service features. Currently the product supports a range of Barcode Scanners for Symbol, Intermec and Bluetooth scanners and exposes an API which is a subset of the POS.NET API available on Windows Embedded Standard. This allows you to create standard Point of Service applications on a variety of devices using just a common API. Additional device specific providers can be added on demand.
The product currently supports Windows Embedded Handheld / Windows Mobile devices from Motorola (Symbol) and Intermec or those with an external Bluetooth scanner.
