I'm not an expert in AVCRP but I think AVRCP_T means the phone can be *controlled* by another device. It isn't the remote controller.
If you're a programmer? Our release contains a pair of samples RemoteControl and RemoteControListener. RemoteControl runs on Windows Mobile and sends keypresses. RemoteControListener runs on Win32 and receives the keypresses and sends them to the active application. Have a play. RemoteControListener supports on 0-9 and return IIRC, but that could be changed.
